The Couple Are Married Since 1996

The pair got married on June 8, 1996, in Upatoi, Georgia at Cortney's parent's house. They met in Charlotte, North Carolina.

All family members of Robert were taken to the house of Cortney who arrived there from all over the world. As they had their wedding at Cortney's house in South Georgia at the time there were no lights on the roads and they faced a lot of problems.

In their marriage, all the family members along with the people from the church were there to give them blessings. They both have big families and enjoyed their wedding.

After the marriage ceremony, they shift into a decorated tent for dinner and dancing. Robert's uncle played the piano accordion and a band performed throughout the time.
